Tetrapropyl Orthotitanate, TNPT

Tetra-n-propyl titanate (CAS 3087-37-4) is a commonly used organotitanium reagent, primarily as a precursor for the preparation of nano-titanium dioxide, titanium-based ceramics, and functional thin films; it is used as a catalyst in transesterification and condensation reactions in organic synthesis; it can be used as a crosslinking agent in coatings to enhance adhesion, and can also act as a coupling agent for plastics and rubber, improving the compatibility between inorganic fillers and organic matrices.
